Jim has extensive public accounting experience servicing a wide range of clients in varied industries. Jim has demonstrated technical proficiency in the areas of auditing, financial reporting, tax planning and reporting and accounting systems review and evaluation. Specific industry exposure includes manufacturing, distribution, real estate, investment companies, employee benefit plans, service organizations (investment management, professional service firms, technology, software development, freight forwarders, customs house brokers and cargo handling) and non-profit organizations (colleges, schools and private foundations). Prior to becoming a partner at WJB, Jim was a senior manager with an international accounting firm. Jim is a graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor degree in accounting and finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served as Board member and treasurer of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Institute of Pension Administrators.
